We start and end our year with the Annual General Meeting, We try to hold it at a convenient time to most people, however this is not usually well attended.  It is an opportunity to have your say on any part of the running of the club and maybe to get involved a little.

We then move on to the Children’s Prize giving Disco in January usually at Manor Farm, most of our younger swimmers come along for a good evening of Games, Trophies and Disco. My thanks to all that help make the evening work.

The Annual Dinner at the end of March / April is the only function that is solely for our Over 16’. This was held at the B.A.W.A club this year and was a brilliant night enjoyed by all who attended. I would like to see more people maybe getting a group together and making up a table and coming to join us.  (If you have any other venues you could suggest for the dinner please let me know).

As I write we are just about to hold a Race Night at Manor Farm, which last year raised about £400 for the club, I am aiming for more this year.

The only date for your diary at the moment is the 30^th January 2009 at Manor Farm for the Children’s Prize Giving Disco.
