The Western County final was plaued immediately after the Bristol and West game against Cardiff University, the Birstol squad played well, but couldn't not stop the strong Tisbury team.

Miranda opened the scoring with a goal in the second quarter. The other Bristol goals came from Deborah in the fourth quarter. The final score was a win for Tisbury, beating Bristol 9 goals to 3. Better luck next time Bristol who face Tisbury next weekend in the National League Competition.

We are the Champions!

Division 2 play offs - Bristol Central v Coventry B 24th April 2004 (L Sherman)

The 1st quarter was fast and furious, with 2 man-ups to Bristol which in true Bristol style we managed to throw away. Most likely "1st night nerves"! Once we had brushed these under the carpet, the 1st quarter ended 0 - 0, we were ready for our attack, and with the help and encouragement of our overseas team coach, Viv Clement we took the match by storm!

Lisa started off the attack with a truley magnificent goal from the pit, where after getting goal side of the defender, a pass in from the wing and brilliant accuracy made the score 0 -1. Let the games begin! as the Romans used to say. This opened the flood gates for goals from Lisa (2) and Michelle (2) - making the score entering the last quarter 4 - 0 to Bristol.

Coventry's famous long shots, which had not worked in the first 3 quarter began to pay off, we conceded 3 goals in the last quarter, but the final score line 9 -3 was a fair reflection of the game.

Watch our Division 2, here we come!

17th - 18th April 2004 ASA Knockout Tournament (L Sherman)

Despite being members of division 3, we were determined to show these division 2 teams what we were made of!

Manchester B v Brisol Central A

Although we lost 6 - 3, Bristol played an epic game, with Rachel putting in a star performance and scoring 2 of the 3 goals.

Manchester were surprised by the "Dunkirk spirit" of the Bristol A team (we only have one team, but felt we had to join the majority of the teams playing this weekend and have a letter after our name!).

We played a good game and showed Manchester B they had something to worry about if we get promoted to division 2 at next weekends play off!

Sheffield B v Brisol Central

Again, another stunning performance from the slightly tired but elite Bristol side. The score line does not do justice to the quality of the play and true determination shoem be the Bristol side.

Even though we lost 10 - 1, the team never gave in and continued to try until the last whistle. Michelle did us proud and scored our only goal.

Manchester A v Brisol Central

Manchester A, a division 1 team, had us a little worried, but for no reason. We continued to play brillliantly.

We warmed up after the first quarter, adjusting to the speed of these young whipper-snappers only after the first 5 minutes of the game, hence we went down 0 -3 initially. But there is no substitute for experience (of which we have a few years!) and we soon got their counter attacks under control and continued to put up a strong fight.

Our only goal came from a one-on-one tussle between Michelle and the goal keeper. The final score was 11 - 1, and boy did we earn our goal!
