- Land training begins at St Mary Redcliffe gym on Thursday 10th January 7-8pm, primarily for the younger members. Please bring along Thera bands and skipping rope if you have them.
- There is a nutrition talk being held by a lecturer from Filton College for all swimmers and parents at Easton sports centre Tuesday 22nd January 5-7pm. There will be a register for attendees as numbers may be limited.
- Have all swimmers entered the Gloucester blocks? Final entries for sessions 11-16 close by 30th January. As usual, entries to Nicky Booth
- Is everyone aware of the new website: www.bristolcentralsc.co.uk. The swimming section has just started. Any ideas please e-mail to the web manager and we will see what we can add. Can team selections, gala times and general information that gets circulated for general usage now be copied also to the web manager (web.manager@bristolcentralsc.co.uk)
- Log books will be checked at the beginning of February. Can all swimmers record the distance they have achieved per session. New in fills will be available shortly as a download from the web page. Should you not have a log book, download the in fills to complete and we will order some more binders
- From the web site the swimmers survey appears in the ‘resources’ section; can all swimmers who have not completed one of these fill it out and return it to me. For two reasons, one so as I can have your projected Personal Best times, and secondly to see who has used the web page so far.
- Can younger swimmers check with their sports teachers about Bristol Schools entries and competition dates. There is a change this year to sessions; they are to be held during the school day.
