There were 30 swimmers aged 7-11yrs taking part over the two days.  Each day comprised 2 one hour training sessions in the pool, run by Bristol Central coaches Alan Thorne, Richard Bryant, Stuart & Sue Sharley, Mick Shortman, Keith & Kerry Walker and Emma Lane.

The days included one land training session provided by Katharine Britton (Bristol City Council Senior Swimming Development Officer). There was also a lecture each day - Alan Thorne delivered a lecture on the importance of hydration and good nutrition and Marion Britton presented a talk on race preparation.

All the swimmers were provided with a free swimming hat and drinks bottle and were given a file containing lots of swimming related information.

Our thanks to the Quartet Community Fund and The Mall Fountain Fund for making the event possible.
